Round 1 Confirmation Thread & Pre-Round Discussion

This will be the confirmation and pre-round discussion thread for the [CAD] Destruction Derby League's first round: "Circular Carnage" at the Kyoto Oval on the 29th of August @ 19:00 GMT. To confirm that you can take part, just say something like "I'm able to race" or "I'm in". You can also discuss how you think you'll do in the round.

I can race, and I hope that this round, as it is a proper round, will bring in more drivers, and a higher percentage of confirmed drivers, as the test round was frankly awful for confirmations; out of 24 confirmations, only 9 people turned up (equal to 37.5%). I am hoping that at least 60% of the confirmed drivers turn up.

Regarding the actual track itself, I think that Stunt Points are most likely going to be 0 for everyone but the Race Points could be quite high. Maybe I'll actually win a race!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ACTUAL ROUND SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED; INSTEAD OF IT BEING 3 RACES OF 5, 10 AND 15 MINUTES EACH, IT WILL NOW BE 3 5 MINUTE RACES AND ONE RACE OF 10 MINUTES. ALSO, EVERY DRIVER THAT CONFIRMS WILL GET AN EMAIL THE DAY BEFORE REMINDING THEM OF THE EVENT.

DRIVERS ON THE RESERVE LIST CAN STILL TAKE PART IN THE ROUND TO TAKE THE PLACES OF GUARANTEED DRIVERS WHO CAN'T MAKE IT.
