Test Round Post-Discussion
Here you can talk about what you thought of the test round.
I think that it would have been a LOT better if we'd had at least 60% of the people who confirmed that they could attend actually showed up. Some people had reasons for not being able to attend, but most, I assume, either forgot or gave no reason for not showing up. I just hope that the actual season isn't like this. Nevertheless, we had some good hits, stunts and races despite the low numbers, but it wasn't ideal DD racing.
Regarding the rules of the league, there will now be a major revamp of the schedule for each round: instead of 3 races of different lengths, there will be 3 races of 5 minutes each, and one of 10 minutes. This will get the round completed in a much quicker time.
Secondly, talking will be allowed after the first person has finished the race.
Lastly, jumps will have no point value given to them due to the difficulty of judging who went the furthest (unless jumps are part of a special point bonus).
Hopefully the Circular Carnage of the first round at Kyoto will be the perfect platform for the DD season.
P.S. If you haven't signed up for the league yet, then you can still do so if you want to race in it. Just click this link to go to the sign up thread!

Re: Test Round Post-Discussion
extremely disappointed with those that didn't turn up, and Sponge for being a complete idiot before losing his rag and disconnecting
Those that did turn up, think it was 8 overall including Eclipse who didn't race, well done.

Re: Test Round Post-Discussion
Just to clarify: we will now be using GMT instead of UTC. It was stated during the test round that one reason for the low numbers could have been the confusion between GMT and UTC, and since more people know what GMT is, then we will be using that instead.
